Ways & means committee to review ordinances on city’s revenue

The City Council committee on ways and means chaired by Councilor George S. Goking is set to review ordinances that will contribute to the city’s revenue to support City Mayor Rolando A. Uy’s projects for the development and progress of the city.

Goking cited that his committee will ensure that ordinances approved before the pandemic are still useful at present relative to the collections of regulatory fees and other forms of taxes which are already due. He said the review will also focus on the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) of corporations to centralize their donations to the city for proper accounting of resources and prioritize its use to those in need for the development of the city.
