VM Uy refers to urban poor body complaint against illegal settlers

CITY Vice Mayor Raineir Joaquin V. Uy referred to the committee on urban and rural poor and housing development, chaired by Councilor Edgar S. Cabanlas, the complaint of lot owners against illegal settlers of four properties.

The said illegal settlers have no permission or any documents authorizing them to build their respective houses as well as to install their electric and water connections, as claimed by the representative of the lot owners.

Considering the properties have been affected by road widening projects of the city government, the owners would like to assert their rightful ownership over these lots.
