Vice Mayor Bebot Rodriguez brought holiday cheer to the city’s Barangay Health Workers (BHWs) during their Annual Convention and Christmas Party held on December 9, 2024, at the Grand Caprice Restaurant and Convention Center.
The celebration became even merrier as VM Bebot delighted the BHWs with raffle prizes, including 4 flat irons, 4 rice cookers, 4 oven toasters, 4 electric fans, 4 two-burner gas stoves, 1 electric kettle, 1 washing machine, 1 refrigerator, and 100 packs of 3-kilogram rice.
As a former medical practitioner, VM Bebot empathized with the challenges faced by health workers and thanked them for their effort in serving their communities.
In her message, she thanked the BHWs for their dedication and commitment to the welfare of the community and assured them of her continued support in addressing their needs.
“This is our way of celebrating and acknowledging all your efforts and volunteer service in your communities,” VM Bebot remarked, emphasizing the essential role of BHWs in maintaining public health and well-being.
Joining the event were Committee on Health Chairperson Councilor Ma. Lourdes Gaane, ABAMIN Partylist former Congressman Maxie Rodriguez, former Barangay Nazareth Chairman Jonjon Rodriguez, Brgy. 1 Kagawad Tony Abejuela, and Mr. Antuy Roa-Pascual, representing Councilor Jay Roa Pascual.
