Vice Mayor Uy gets PhilID registered
SUPPORTING the implementation of Republic Act No. 11055 or the Philippine Identification System Act, Vice Mayor Raineir Joaquin Uy today got himself registered as he urges Kagay-anons to do the same.
The Philippine National ID serves as the government’s unified, centralized form of identification for Filipino citizens and resident aliens.
The PhilID card will be the sole ID required for all transactions in all local government units, private entities, banks, and other establishments as cited by DILG Secretary Eduardo M. Año in a published report.
Registration can be done by filling out the form and scheduling an in-person appointment through register.philsys.gov.ph.
