Supplemental budget of Kauswagan OKd


BARANGAY Kauswagan can now implement its other programs and projects lined up for the year.

This after the 19th City Council on its regular session Monday presided over by Vice Mayor Raineir Joaquin V. Uy adopted a resolution returning to the barangay its ordinance covering its Supplemental Budget No. 1 for 2021 with the information that it is operative in its entirety.

Out of its estimated income of P12,033,494, the barangay appropriated P1,320,500 for the payment of personal services specifically for COVID 19 Special Risk Allowance (SRA).

It likewise reserved allocations for capital outlay in the amount of P9,965,000 for road concreting, stage rehabilitation, and for the purchase of two dump trucks, one multicab (mobile patrol), and a computer set with printer, among others.

The rest of the allocations are reserved for maintenance and other operating expenses (MOOE) such as payments for General Services Job-Order, declogging of canals, food expenses for COVID 19 responses, and purchase of goods for Community-Based Rehabilitation Program (CBRP) beneficiaries.

The legislation was reviewed and endorsed by the committees on barangay affairs and on laws and rules respectively chaired by Councilors Yan Lam S. Lim and Ian Mark Q. Nacaya.
