Subdivision Comm backs payment of just compensation to lot owners

THE City Council Committee on Subdivision and Landed Estate chaired by Councilor Edgar S. Cabanlas, with Councilors Jose Pepe S. Abbu and Aga Suan, favorably endorsed the approval of the request of City Mayor Rolando A. Uy granting authority to charge the respective amounts to cover payment for just compensation to lot owners whose properties were affected by the proposed city road project.

It was learned that the specified portions of the properties were affected by the 12.00 meters-wide Macapaya road project located in Barangay Camaman-an. With this, Councilor Cabanlas referred the payment for just compensation to the Committee on Laws and Rules chaired by him for appropriate action.
