Subd Comm tackles Camaman-an residents’ request to convert private lot into public access road
THE City Council Committee on Subdivision and Landed Estate, chaired by Councilor Edgar S. Cabanlas, is reviewing the request of Barangay Camaman-an residents to convert a private lot into a public road, allowing improved access and mobility for them.
In his letter to the committee, Jimmy Magbago, one of the residents in Tipolohon, Camaman-an, expressed the pressing need for a passageway that would facilitate smoother transportation and a more improved mobility in the neighborhood.
He claimed that the only access road for residents is a private lot owned by the Divine Shepherd Memorial Gardens, Inc. and Mr. Hong C. See.
During the meeting, a representative of the private lot owner affirmed that their lot is being used by the residents as passageway. He agreed to any negotiation with the city government regarding its use as a public road.
Councilor Cabanlas said the committee will continue to tackle the matter inviting the concerned parties and residents for further discussions.
Councilors Aga Suan and Joey Abbu were also present during the discussions.
