Subd comm backs payments to property owners affected by road project in Brgy 35

THE City Council committee on subdivision and landed estate chaired by Councilor Edgar S. Cabanlas favorably endorsed the approval of the payments for property owners affected by the proposed opening of Limketkai road extension from Justo Ramonal Street to J.R. Borja Extension located in Barangay 35.

The affected lots identified as Block 9 of Lot Nos. 5, 6, 7, and 8, and some of the portions of the same property become non-buildable due to its elongated form.

The committee likewise recommended the approval of the payment to a property which was affected by the road right-of-way or storm drainage project of the city in Barangay Kauswagan.

The requests for compensation were endorsed by City Mayor Rolando A. Uy, City Legal Office, and City Budget Office including the Local Finance Committee Resolution.

Councilor Cabanlas referred the requests to his committee on laws and rules for appropriate action. (JBDacer/SP)
