Subd cmte to tackle Brgy Mambuaya’s request declaring lot as site resettlement
THE City Council Committee on Subdivision and Landed Estate chaired by Councilor Edgar S. Cabanlas will soon tackle the barangay resolution of Mambuaya requesting the city government to declare portions of lot as on-site resettlement project.
This is for the purposes of a proposed extension of Mambuaya barangay site and for other public use. The Barangay Council likewise requested that the resettlement titles be awarded to actual occupants.
In its resolution, barangay officials said that Mambuaya envisions to be one of the prime barangays in the uptown area that has great potential for massive economic growth. The main factors influencing the investment are the national highway and the abundance of eco-tourism destinations.
Meanwhile, the committee will likewise discuss the request of Barangay Puntod to conduct survey of a road right-of-way at San Vicente Corrales Extension in the said barangay.
This is in view of the barangay council’s previous request to the city government to allocate funds for the just compensation payment to lot owner whose property will be used for school development, which the committee already acted upon.
