Subd cmte to review CCIHOA complaint on repossessed cars yard within Coca Cola Subd in Iponan
THE City Council Committee on Subdivision and Landed Estate chaired by Councilor Edgar S. Cabanlas will be reviewing the complaint of Coca Cola Subdivision Iponan Homeowners Association, Inc. (CCSIHOAI) regarding the repossessed cars yard owned by a certain bank.
It may be recalled that some members of the association voiced their concern during the public hearing regarding the proposed zoning ordinance conducted by the City Council with the City Planning and Development Office (CPDO). The CPDO informed them that they are scheduling a survey of the said area to assess the legality of the repossessed cars yard within the subdivision.
According to the members of the association, the lots used by the bank are part of the subdivision plan which classified as medium density residential zone, but being used for commercial purposes, which is in violation of zoning regulations of the city.
The association added that the operation has caused disruptions that compromise the residents' safety, security, and peaceful living in the subdivision.
The repossessed cars yard has been in operation inside the subdivision for more or less four years.
