Subd cmte inspects site of proposed condo project in Kauswagan

COUNCILOR Edgar S. Cabanlas, chair of the City Council committee on subdivision and landed estate, with representatives of the City Engineer’s Office, City Housing and Urban Development Department (CHUDD), City Housing Board yesterday inspected the site of the proposed four-storey residential condominium project located at Scions Subdivision in Barangay Kauswagan.

Its developer, Escalicas Land OPC, is applying for the alteration of plan of the said subdivision for the consolidation of 20 lots into one lot and the conversion of the townhouse project into a condominium. The affected lot covers an area of 1,245 square meters.

The developer intends to develop a condominium project in the area where an approved alteration permit was issued for a townhouse project consisting of 20 lots. This is to maximize the area and address the housing needs of the city.

Councilor Cabanlas favorably endorsed the application for alteration of plan to the committee on laws and rules chaired by Councilor Ian Mark Q. Nacaya for appropriate action.
