Subd cmte backs DP applications of Divine Shepherd expansion, Saint Therese Phase 2

THE City Council Committee on Subdivision and Landed Estate chaired by Councilor Edgar S. Cabanlas favorably endorsed the applications for Development Permit (DP) of Divine Shepherd Memorial Gardens expansion and Saint Therese Phase 2.

The developer of the Divine Shepherd intends to expand the memorial park in Bulua with additional 2,702.20 square meters of garden lots, containing 560 plots.

Meanwhile, the A. Brown Company Inc., developer of Saint Therese Phase 2 subdivision, applied for DP for the said subdivision which covers an area of 24,495 square meters, containing 48 lots, located in Barangay Balulang.

Both applications were endorsed by the City Housing Board (CHB) for approval. In response to the query of Councilor Cabanlas if the areas were inspected, a representative from the CHB affirmed that the areas were already checked.

Councilor Aga Suan, who was present during the meeting, moved for the approval of the said application, since all pertinent documents have been submitted.

The committee referred the matter to the Committee on Laws and Rules chaired by Councilor Cabanlas for appropriate action.
