Studies on merging of econ enterprise projects seen

AN assessment of the City Economic Enterprises and Department (CEED) and East-WestBound Terminal Public Market (EWTPM) and evaluations on the merging of all city economic enterprises projects into one department may soon take place.

It can be recalled that the City Council headed by Vice Mayor Raineir Joaquin V. Uy adopted a resolution earnestly requesting University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines (USTP) System President Ambrocio B. Cultura III, PhD, to designate the USTP Center for Inclusive Development Studies to conduct the study.

Councilor Ian Mark Nacaya, chair of the committee on planning, development and innovation, filed the resolution as he continues to work to address economic and other concerns and come up with proactive solutions to these through the research-based approach.
