SP suspends regular session in deference to holiday season

THROUGH a resolution, the 20th City Council headed by City Vice Mayor Bebot Rodriguez has agreed to suspend the regular sessions for the remainder of the month in light of the upcoming Christmas and New Year holidays.

The City Council members recognized the importance of this holiday season and the opportunity it provides for the public to spend time with their family and friends.

In the resolution, the legislative body suspended the regular sessions on December 16 & 23, 2024 and January 6, 2025, without prejudice to the holding of special session as provided for in the internal rules of procedure of the City Council and in cases of emergency.

The next regular session is scheduled to resume on January 13, 2025.
