SP Oks SAIP 2 for 2021

THROUGH Resolution No. 13943-2021, the 19th City Council headed by Vice Mayor Raineir Joaquin V. Uy approved the 2021 Supplemental Annual Investment Program (SAIP) 2 of the city government of Cagayan de Oro.

The SAIP contains the development programs, projects and activities in response to the urgent and priority needs of the city to address the challenges of the pandemic and to sustain the delivery of other essential public services.

The supplemental investment program includes the grant of hazard pay and special risk allowance to COVID 19 personnel and workers and augmentation of medical staff at the J.R.Borja General Hospital.

The completion of the Bio-Safety Level 2 laboratory is also included in the city’s priority list.

In the Social Development Services Sector, additional funding for 2,200 new scholars was projected and earmarked.

In a resolution, the City Development Council Executive Committee cited that the PPAs contained in the SAIP 2 have emanated from and finalized in consultation with various departments and offices of the city government to ensure consistency with the national, regional, and local government programming policies and guidelines.
