SP OKs just compensation payment

THE 19th City Council headed by Vice Mayor Raineir Joaquin V. Uy continues to settle its obligations to lot owners whose properties were affected by development projects.

During the 104th regular session yesterday, legislators enacted an ordinance appropriating an amount for the full payment of the claim of just compensation of the improvements of a lot traversed by the proposed road from South Diversion Road to Convention Center passing through the Court of Appeals, Mindanao Station located at Sitio Taguanao in Barangay Indahag.

The legislative body also authorized City Mayor Oscar Moreno to sign the Deed of Absolute Sale for the purpose.

The ordinance was sponsored by the committees on subdivision and landed estate, on finance, budget and appropriation, and on laws and rules chaired by Councilors Edgar S. Cabanlas, Edna M. Dahino, and Ian Mark Q. Nacaya, respectively.
