SP OKs annual budgets of three brgys
THREE more barangays will be able to implement their programs and projects lined up for this year.
This, after the 19th City Council during its regular session Monday presided over by Vice Mayor Raineir Joaquin V. Uy adopted separate resolutions returning to the Barangay Councils of Macasandig, San Simon, and Dansolihon, their respective ordinances covering their annual budgets for 2022 with the information that these are operative in their entirety.
Barangay Macasandig has an estimated income of P29,037,371 for the year. Out of this, funds were earmarked from its 20-percent development fund for the construction of the drainage system at Xavier Compound, rehabilitation of drainage system at Edrote Compound, and construction of a pathway with drainage at Daabay area, among others.
Dansolihon projected an income of P9,667,997 this year. Projects to be implemented include reforestation and rural greening project, declogging of canals, rehabilitation and re-graveling of local roads, rehabilitation and improvement of a water system, construction of waiting shed at Pulang Lupa and Purok 1.
Meanwhile, with an income of P9,027,740 this year, Barangay San Simon will utilize its development fund for the construction of an evacuation center, installation of a street lighting system, rehabilitation of local roads, declogging of canals, and rehabilitation of its water supply system.
The barangay budgets were reviewed and endorsed by the committees on barangay affairs and on laws and rules respectively chaired by Councilors Yan Lam Lim and Ian Mark Q. Nacaya.
