SP Oks alteration of plan of Bayview Heights Subd in Tablon
THROUGH an ordinance, the 19th City Council during its regular session presided over by Vice Mayor Raineir Joaquin V. Uy approved the Alteration of Plan of a portion of Bayview Heights Phase 1-A Subdivision project located in Barangay Tablon, as applied for by the Alveo Land Corporation.
This is, however, subject to the conditions imposed by the City Housing and Urban Development Department (CHUDD), City Housing Board, and City Engineering Office.
To comply with the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) requirements for sustainable design, the developer of the subdivision intends to realign/re-route its main road with an affected area of 4,297 square meters, The Gavel learned.
The corporation said the alteration does not affect any saleable/residential lot of the project.
The subdivision project has 147 saleable lots, 23 lots are already sold to buyers, while 124 remaining unsold lots are still owned by the corporation.
Councilor Roger Abaday asked if the homeowners are well informed of some changes and activities done by the developer of the subdivision.
Councilor Edgar S. Cabanlas, chair of the committee on subdivision and landed estate, said only 11-percent of the lots/units are affected by the alteration. Most of the lots are still owned by Alveo, he added.
“If we will ask permission of the majority, ang tag-iya ang Alveo man gihapon,” he clarified.
The alteration plan was reviewed and endorsed by the committees on subdivision and on laws and rules respectively chaired by Councilors Cabanlas and Ian Mark Q. Nacaya.
