SP oks ₱3.9M Camaman-an SK budget

IN the recent session presided over by Vice Mayor Bebot Rodriguez, the 20th City Council has given its nod to the ₱3,982,788.00 annual budget for CY 2024 of the Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) of Barangay Camaman-an.

The aforementioned fund was sourced from the barangay's 10% development fund in accordance with the provisions of the SK Reform Act.

Within this allocation, the Camaman-an SK Council has allotted ₱270,000.00 for honoraria for council members and ₱3,662,788.00 for maintenance and operating expenses.

These expenses will support projects to purchase computer set to promote health, education, economic empowerment, peace-building and security, and active citizenship among the youth of the barangay.

The legislation was reviewed and endorsed by the committees on Sports and Youth Development and on Laws and Rules, chaired by Councilors Kenneth John Sacala and Edgar S. Cabanlas, respectively.
