SP okays payment for unpaid meal allowances

IN a recent regular session of the 20th City Council presided over by Presiding Officer Pro Tempore Councilor Romeo Calizo, legislators authorized the City Accountant to allocate an amount for the payment of meal allowances of athletes and coaches who participated in the Batang Pinoy 2022 National Championship.

These funds will cover the meal allowances of 22 athletes and four coaches who represented the city during the championship held last December 28, 2022, in Vigan City, Ilocos Sur. 

This ordinance, as certified by Local Finance Committee Resolution No. 010-2024, was sponsored by the Committees on Sports and Youth Development, Finance, Budget, and Appropriations, and Laws and Rules, chaired by Councilors Kenneth John Sacala, Yan LamLim, and Edgar S.Cabanlas, respectively.
