SP okays budget of Barangay 25

BARANGAY Officials of Barangay 25 will now be able to implement programs and projects lined up for the year.

This after the City Council during its regular session Monday presided over by Vice Mayor Kikang Uy passed a resolution returning to the barangay its ordinance pertaining to its 2021 Annual budget with an estimated income and expenditure amounting to P3,926,875.

The barangay allocated an amount for the conduct of training on disaster preparedness and response, search and rescue and retrieval operations.

Funds were also appropriated for the purchase of calamity-related supplies and equipment and fund for its Youth Development Program.

Councilor Yan Lam S. Lim, chair of the committee on barangay affairs, said the ordinance passed through series of meetings and it was found in order.

The resolution was endorsed by the committees on barangay affairs and on laws and rules chaired by Councilor Ian Mark Nacaya.
