SP drops admin case of former Cugman councilman
THE 20th City Council, during its regular session, presided over by City Vice Mayor Bebot Rodriguez, dismissed the administrative complaints filed against a former barangay kagawad of Barangay Cugman.
The ex-official faced allegations of grave abuse of authority, grave misconduct, dishonesty, conduct prejudicial to the best interest of government service, violation of Section 3 (e) of RA 3019, and violation of RA 6713.
The Blue Ribbon Committee recommended the dismissal of the said case for being moot and academic considering that the respondent is no longer a member of the barangay council.
The resolution was sponsored by the Committees on Ethics and Blue Ribbon and Laws and Rules both chaired by Councilor Edgar S. Cabanlas.
