SP dismisses complaints vs Lapasan brgy officials

THROUGH a resolution, the 20th City Council, during its regular session Monday, presided over by Vice Mayor Bebot Rodriguez, adopted the order of the committee on ethics and blue ribbon chaired by Councilor Edgar S. Cabanlas, on BR case to barangay officials of Barangay Lapasan.

It may be recalled that a complaint was filed by Ms. Carol Jane A. Bilar, former SK chairperson of the said barangay against Punong Barangay Julito D. Ogsimer and former Barangay Treasurer Julieto Hidalgo, both of Barangay Lapasan, for undisbursed annual budget for years 2021 and 2022.

The committee ruled dismissing the said case due to the complainant’s lack of interest in pursuing the said case.

The legislation was reviewed and endorsed by the committees on ethics and blue ribbon and on laws and rules both chaired by Councilor Cabanlas.
