SP confirms appointment of Engr. Rodriguez as OBO head

DURING its regular session Monday, presided over by Vice Mayor Jocelyn Rodriguez, the 20th City Council acting upon the endorsement of Mayor Rolando Uy, confirmed the appointment of Engr. Ma. Rosanna D. Rodriguez as the new City Building Official.

Under Section 454(d) of RA 7160, otherwise known as the Local Government Code of 1991, heads of department and offices shall be appointed by the city mayor with the concurrence of the majority of all the Sangguniang Panlungsod members, subject to civil service law, rules and regulations.

The resolution was endorsed by the Committee on Laws and Rules chaired by Councilor Edgar Cabanlas.
