SP commends honest city hall employee

THROUGH a resolution, the 19th City Council during the 125th regular session presided over by Vice Mayor Raineir Joaquin V. Uy commended Mr. Romenick P. Galaura, Job Order employee of Cogon Public Market, for his highly commendable act of honesty by returning lost wallets he found to the rightful owners.

The Gavel learned that on three separate occasions, Galaura returned lost wallets with cash and various identification (ID) cards that he found at the Cogon Public Market.

Legislators expressed their gratitude to the honesty showed by the said employee amidst current situation and financial difficulty brought by the pandemic.

The committees on economic enterprises and on laws and rules both chaired by Councilor Ian Mark Q. Nacaya sponsored the resolution.
