SP backs deed of usufruct with Brgy Macabalan

THE construction of the proposed multi-purpose building in Barangay Macabalan may start soon.

This, as the 20th City Council during its regular session on Monday, presided over by Presiding Officer Pro Tempore Councilor Romeo V. Calizo enacted an ordinance authorizing Mayor Rolando A. Uy to enter into and sign the Deed of Usufruct with Barangay Macabalan, represented by Punong Barangay Raniel L. Raypon, for the use of the city’s 229 sq.m. lot (open space).

The Barangay Macabalan Council expressed its gratitude to the city as the proposed multi-purpose building will provide residents a venue for their social and cultural activities.

The ordinance was sponsored by the committees on subdivision and landed estate and on laws and rules both chaired by Councilor Edgar S. Cabanlas. (JBDacer/SP)
