SP backs Brgy Puntod SK budget

THE Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) of Barangay Puntod is poised to roll out its youth initiatives for this year, following the approval of their ₱3,476,862.00 annual budget by the 20th City Council.

With a focus on key areas such as health, education, economic empowerment, social inclusion and equity, peacebuilding and security, active citizenship, environmental sustainability, and governance, the SK has allocated ₱2,093,000.00 specifically for youth development and empowerment programs.

Additionally, ₱864,000.00 of the total budget will cover the personal services of SK members, while ₱519,862.00 will go toward maintenance and other operating expenses, including costs for training, office supplies, internet subscriptions, membership dues and contributions, fidelity bond premiums, and various other supplies and materials.

The committee on sports and youth development and on laws and rules chaired by Councilors Kenneth John D. Sacala and Councilor Edgar S. Cabanlas, respectively, sponsored the approval of the said budget.  (SPEscoltos/SP)
