SP authorizes Mayor Uy to sign deed of usufruct for proposed Canitoan Super Health Center

BARANGAY Super Health Center in Barangay Canitoan to be developed soon.

Cagayan d Oro City Councilor Romeo V. Calizo

This, after the 20th City Council, during its regular session presided over by Presiding Officer Pro Tempore Councilor Romeo V. Calizo, enacted an ordinance authorizing City Mayor Rolando A. Uy to enter into and sign the Deed of Usufruct with Barangay Canitoan, covering the use of the city-owned property as site for the proposed super health center.

With an area of 982 square meters, it will be located at the portion of Lot 1 Block 31 at the Cagayan de Oro Resettlement and Socialized Housing Project 1 Phase 2A (CDORSHP 1 P2A) in Sitio Calaanan of the said barangay.

Members of the Cagayan de Oro 20th City Council

Under the agreement, the term of the usufruct is for 25 years, renewable upon the agreement of the parties. Barangay Canitoan is given the right and privilege to use the subject property on the condition that it shall be used exclusively for the Super Health Center. Any deviation from this condition shall entitle the city to cause the immediate cancellation/termination of the agreement, and the city shall immediately recover and regain possession of the subject property.

The proposed project will be funded by the Department of Health (DOH) as part of the national government’s effort to boost universal healthcare and decongest hospitals.
