SP approves Barangay Tagpangi budget for CY 2025

The 20th City Council, in its regular session on Monday, presided over by Vice Mayor Bebot Rodriguez, adopted a resolution returning to Barangay Tagpangi its ordinance covering its Annual Budget for CY 2025 with the information that said ordinance is operative in its entirety.

Out of its estimated income of ₱6,590,530.00, the barangay has allocated P1,039,987, representing a 20% development fund, for the construction of a drainage system along Zone 2, declogging of canals, construction of boundary posts, and installation of a street lighting system.

The remaining allocation was reserved for personal services, non-office expenditures, and maintenance and other operating expenses (MOOE).

The legislation was reviewed and endorsed by the City Council Committee on Barangay Affairs and on Laws and Rules, respectively chaired by Councilors Yan Lam S. Lim and Edgar S. Cabanlas.
