SP approves 2025 budget of Lumbia

The 20th City Council, during its regular session on Monday, presided over by Vice Mayor Bebot Rodriguez, adopted a resolution returning as operational the 2025 annual budget of Barangay Lumbia.

With an estimated income of ₱44,745,722, the barangay allocated ₱7,494,915 (20% Development Fund) for several development projects, including the construction of a drainage system, improvement of the public market, declogging and desilting of drainage systems, installation of a street lighting system, purchase of engineering equipment (dump truck), acquisition of a solid waste management vehicle, rehabilitation of the multi-purpose hall-gym, child development center, and local roads.

The remaining appropriations are allotted for the 5% calamity fund, 10% SK fund for youth development programs, capital outlay, personnel services, and Maintenance and Other Operating Expenses (MOOE).

The ordinance was reviewed and endorsed by the City Council committee on barangay affairs, chaired by Councilor Yan Lam S. Lim, and committee on laws and rules, chaired by Councilor Edgar S. Cabanlas.
