SP accredits indigenous assn in LSB
ANOTHER non-government organization has been accredited in the city’s Local Special Bodies (LSB).
In line with DILG Memorandum Circular No. 2019-72 and Article 64, Rule XIII of the Rules and Regulations Implementing the 1991 Local Government Code, the City Council during its regular session presided over by Vice Mayor Raineir Joaquin V. Uy adopted a resolution accrediting the KM.8 Indigenous People Developing Livelihood Association, Inc. for purposes of its membership in the LSB.
This, after receiving the endorsement of the City Planning and Development Office that the association has complied with the administrative requirements that qualify its endorsement to the City Council.
The resolution was reviewed and favorably endorsed by the committees of Cultural Communities and on Laws and Rules chaired by Councilors Malou Gaane and Ian Mark Nacaya, respectively.
