SP accredits CAMODA to local special bodies

THE 20th City Council on its regular session Monday presided over by Vice Mayor Jocelyn B. Rodriguez adopted a resolution accrediting the Cogon-Agora Motorela Operator and Driver’s Association (CAMODA) as member in the local special bodies.

Organized on November 20, 2022, CAMODA with office address at Zone 2A Pagatpat is registered with the Department of Labor and Employment-X (DOLE-X). It aims to organize the motorela drivers, operators and others by unifying into an association that will improve and enhance the way of life of its members and their families.

Among the services the organization may provide or engage in are activities that will help decongest the traffic condition of the city, The Gavel learned.

The legislation was reviewed and endorsed by the committees on planning, research and innovation and people’s organization accreditation and on laws and rules both chaired by Councilor Ian Mark Q. Nacaya.
