SP accepts turnover of roads, common areas of subdivision project in Lumbia

THE city government of Cagayan de Oro will now be the owner of the roads and common areas of the Westgate Highlands Phase 3 Subdivision project.

This as the 20th City Council, during its regular session presided over by City Vice Mayor Bebot Rodriguez, enacted an ordinance accepting the offer of the Liberty Land Corporation, developer, to turn over to the city government the said amenities of the subdivision project located at Upper Palalan, Barangay Lumbia, in accordance with the subdivision laws, rules and regulations.

The Gavel learned that the developer already addressed the deficiencies that were mentioned in the inspection report, pertaining to the Certificate of Completion (COC) for the subdivision project.

With this, legislators likewise authorized City Mayor Rolando A. Uy to sign the corresponding Deed of Donation for the purpose.

The ordinance was reviewed and endorsed by the Committees on Subdivision and Landed Estate and Laws and Rules both chaired by Councilor Edgar S. Cabanlas.
