SP accepts turn-over of Westwoods Village in Carmen
THROUGH an ordinance, the 20th City Council headed by City Vice Mayor Bebot Rodriguez, accepted the offer of Pueblo de Oro Development Corporation (PDO) to turn-over to the city government the Westwoods Village located in Barangay Carmen.
The PDO, developer of the subdivision, expressed its intention to donate to the city the road lots, open spaces, and common areas of the said subdivision, in accordance with the subdivision laws, rules and regulations. Thus, PDO shall be freed from the responsibility for maintaining and operating the subdivision.
With this, the legislators authorized City Mayor Rolando A. Uy to sign the corresponding deed of donation for the purpose.
The legislation was sponsored by the Committees on Subdivision and Landed Estate and on Laws and Rules both chaired by Councilor Edgar S. Cabanlas.
