Security seal for document is safest – Emano
“I have learned that it is the safest para ma-certify ug magsilyo sa atong mga documents”.
This was stressed by Councilor Yevonna Yacine B. Emano, during the regular session on Monday, presided over by City Vice Mayor Bebot Rodriguez, as an offshoot to the recent passage of an ordinance adopting the use of document security seal by government frontline offices on official and original documents issued to transacting persons and entities.
Councilor Emano, citing a conversation with an expert on the technical aspect of the security seal, said that it is a holographic security label designed to combat counterfeiting and prevent duplicity and imitation.
“Maski unsaon og bali-bali dili gyud siya maibot dili pud na sya matangtang at the same time dili pud ma-tamper. Mupilit man gud na siya mahimo siyang part sa papel,” she explained.
The sticker is embossed to the paper, so there is no chance for it to be removed or taken out from a document, she added.
“It is very good technology; it’s safer. Mas high-end, mas maayo pud siya than the barcode”, she opined.
