Sacala named goodwill ambassador to China

COUNCILOR Kenneth Sacala has been designated as the Ambassador of Goodwill to China following a resolution approved by the 20th City Council.

Councilor Sacala is set to travel to Guangxi, China from May 30 to June 3, 2024, as member of the delegation of the Carmen Dragon Boat Team that will participate in the 2024 ASEAN Dragon Boat Festival.

The Carmen Dragon Boat Team is one of the representatives of the Philippines in the open group category of the competition.

In his capacity as a city official, Sacala is also given authority authorization to observe and gather insights on the modern trends of local legislative bodies in China with a special focus on tourism and infrastructure projects and programs for the city’s development.
