Purchase of lots for resettlement sites up for discussion

THE City Council committee on finance, budget and appropriations chaired by Councilor Edna M. Dahino is set to meet tomorrow to tackle the request for an appropriation of P8,271,402 to cover the full payment of just compensation including registration and documentation expenses of a property located at Patpat, Barangay Lumbia with a total land area of 31.037 square meters for resettlement site/land banking purposes.

Likewise for discussion is the request to charge against Current Appropriation Annual Budget of 2021 the amount of P5,697,964.33 representing full payment of a lot located in Barangay Indahag, also for resettlement site/land banking purposes.

Invited to attend the meeting are representatives from the City Budget Office, City Treasurer’s Office, City Accounting Office, City Legal Office, City Assessment Office, City Engineer’s Office, City Housing and Urban Development Department (CHUDD) and the registered owners of the two properties.
