Proposed construction of new Balubal super health center up for review

THE City Council Committee on Health, Nutrition, and Health Insurance chaired by Councilor Maria Lourdes S. Gaane will be reviewing the proposed construction of the new Balubal Super Health Center under the Health Facility Enhancement Program (HFEP 2022) of the Department of Health – Center for Health Development Northern Mindanao (DOH-CHDNM).

This, as the 20th City Council headed by Vice Mayor Bebot Rodriguez through the Committee on Health received the draft Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the DOH-CHDNM for the enactment of an ordinance authorizing City Mayor Rolando A. Uy to sign the said document.

In his letter to the City Council, City Mayor Klarex Uy said the construction of the new health center will surely enhance the services of the present healthcare facility in Barangay Balubal.
