Pascual thanks sponsors, partners for successful fiesta celebration

IN his special report on Monday, Councilor Jay R. Pascual thanked Mayor Rolando Uy, Vice Mayor Jocelyn Rodriguez, and all members of the 20th City Council for their support in making this year’s city fiesta celebration a successful one.

He likewise expressed his grateful recognition to the organizers, sponsors and partners from the local and national government agencies and private entities who gave their time and effort to participate in the face- to- face activities after two years of online festivities due to the pandemic.

As enumerated by Pascual, sponsors for the Higalaay Festival were CEPALCO, Cebu Landmasters, TNT/PLDT, TM/Globe, Pepsi, San Miguel Corp., SM Development Corp. (SMDC), Camella-Cagayan de Oro, Nature’s Spring, Air Asia, Minute Burger-Cagayan de Oro and the Cagayan de Oro Filipino-Chinese Chamber of Commerce.

The councilor also thanked Gov. Peter Unabia, Gregorio Pelaez Sports Center, Archdiocese of Cagayan de Oro, Cagayan de Oro City Police Office (COCPO), Task Force Oro, 4th ID Philippine Army, Maritime Industry Authority-X, Philippine Coast Guard and its Auxiliary, Philippine Ports Authority (PPA), PNP Maritime-X, Department of Public Works and Highways Region 10 (DPWH-10), Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP-10), Cagayan de Oro City Water District (COWD), City Mayor’s Office, City Administrator’s Office, City Information Office (CIO), City Disaster Risk Reduction Management Department (CDRRMD), Roads and Traffic Administration (RTA), City Public Services Department (CPSD), City Engineer’s Office (CEO), City Local Environment and Natural Resources Office (CLENRO), City Health Office (CHO), City Budget Office, City Finance Office, City Accounting Office, Department of Education Division of Misamis Oriental.

He aired his gratitude to all participants of the Carnival Street Dance Competition, Civic Military Parade and Fluvial Float Procession as well as various bands and musicians, sponsors of Higalaay Festival core events such as Higalaay Festival Launching, Higalaay Agro Fair and Garden Show, Photo Contest and Exhibit 2022, Kahimunan Regional Trade Fair, 11th Mindanao Fashion Summit, Milo Kagay-an Festival Fun Run, 3rd Kagay-an Dragon Boat Fiesta Race, 26th Kumbira and Miss Cagayan de Oro 2022.
