Pascual hails MASSA Foundation for assistance to PWDs

COUNCILOR Jay R. Pascual is thanking the Marian-Foundation Assistance for Spiritual and Social Achievement (MASSA) for its programs in the city.

“Atong pasalamatan ang MASSA Foundation sa ilang dakong pagtabang para makahatag kalipay ug importansya sa atong mga PWDs,” he cited during the recent gathering at Kiosko Plaza Divisoria with the theme: “Sa MASSA may pag-asa ang may bagong kamay at paa.”

MASSA is a community committed to allowing people experience social and spiritual achievement through livelihood, feeding and nourishing programs.

Established in 1995, MASSA was founded by Rolando Delfin after a recollection at the Religious of the Assumption Chapel which was attended by 13 individuals. Two weeks after, a breakfast invitation was extended to a group of abandoned children. The experience later resulted to their adoption where they were given food, shelter, and a family, The Gavel learned.

“Daghan pa kita’g programa na angay buhaton kay ang atong serbisyo kanunay ug mao kini atong tumong ug tinguha para sa atong mga katawhan ug para sad sa kalambuan sa atong dakbayan,” Pascual said.
