Oro dads okay SK brgy 9 budget

IN its 96th regular session presided over by Vice Mayor Bebot Rodriguez, the 20th city council approved a resolution finding as operative the 2024 supplemental budget of the Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay 9, this city.

The budget, totaling ₱362,256.00, will cover the personal services of SK members, as well as maintenance and operating expenses.

The SK of Barangay 9 also allocated ₱175,000.00 for youth development and empowerment programs. This will support initiatives focused on active citizenship (₱90,000.00), environmental sustainability (₱30,000.00), governance (₱30,000.00), education (₱20,000.00), and social inclusion and equity (₱5,000.00).

The resolution was sponsored by the Committee on Sports and Youth Development, chaired by Councilor Kenneth John D. Sacala, and Committee on Laws and Rules, chaired by Councilor Edgar S. Cabanlas.
