Oro dads nod SK Tablon 2025 budget

THE Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) of Barangay Tablon is set to roll out its youth development programs in 2025, following the approval of its ₱4,835,436.00 budget by the 20th City Council.
A total of ₱3,362,883.00 has been allocated for various youth-focused initiatives, including health services and adolescent sexual and reproductive health programs, equitable access to quality education, and economic empowerment through employment and livelihood opportunities.

The budget also covers programs promoting social inclusion and equity, peace-building and security through anti-drug abuse campaigns, good governance, and active citizenship through leadership training.
Additionally, funds have been earmarked for environmental protection, climate change adaptation, disaster risk reduction and response (DRRR), and agricultural initiatives.
₱1,208,844.00 has been appropriated for personal services, covering the honoraria of SK officials. Operational expenses such as training, office supplies, fidelity bond premiums, annual dues to the SK Federation, and other materials amount to ₱213,709.00. The budget also includes ₱50,000 for the procurement of one DSLR camera for documentation purposes.
The committee committee on sports and youth development, chaired by Councilor Kenneth John D. Sacala, and the committee on laws and rules led by Councilor Edgar S. Cabanlas, sponsored the approval of the said budget. (SPEscoltos/SP)
