Oro dads green lit derby in Lumbia

The Invitational Pangmasang 4 Wins cockfight has been given the green light to be held at the Lumbia Octagon Sports Arena (LOSA) on the occasion of the 70th Lumbia Barangay Day.

This after the 20th City Council, during its 95th regular session presided over by Presiding Officer Pro Tempore Councilor Romeo G. Calizo, approved the application for a special permit of Mr. Rodrigo G. Go, president of the said arena, to hold such event on September 18, 2024.

The said application first underwent the scrutiny of the Committee on Games and Amusement chaired by Councilor Roger G. Abaday to check if the organizer has strictly complied with all the requirements and followed all legal provisions of local and national laws.

The ordinance was sponsored by the Committees on Games and Amusement and on Laws and Rules, chaired by Councilor Abaday and Councilor Edgar Cabanlas, respectively.
