Oro dads grant salary increase to City Health personnel
THROUGH an ordinance, the 19th City Council during its regular session presided over by Vice Mayor Ranieir Joaquin V. Uy granted one salary increase to six personnel of the City Health Office who will compulsorily retire from the government service.
This is pursuant to Section 30 of the Republic Act 7305, otherwise known as the Magna Carta of Public Health Workers.
The city also appropriated an amount to be made available for the payment of their respective three-month salary differential as a result thereof.
The grant of salary increase to health personnel was favorably endorsed by City Mayor Oscar Moreno, Local Finance Committee, and the City Budget Office.
The legislation was reviewed and endorsed by the committees on health and health insurance, on finance, budget and appropriations, and on laws and rules chaired by Councilors Maria Lourdes S. Gaane, Edna M. Dahino, and Ian Mark Q. Nacaya, respectively.
