Oro dads grant salary grade hike to health personnel retirees

TWO health personnel of the City Health Office who will compulsorily retire and already retired from government service will now obtain salary grade increase.

Through separate ordinances, the 20th City Council, during its regular session presided over by Presiding Officer Pro Tempore Councilor Romeo V. Calizo, granted one salary grade increase to Ms. Helen S. Deloso, Sanitary Inspector II, who will retire on November 22, 2024, and Ms. Anita V. De Guzman, Nurse III, retired last July 18, 2024, pursuant to Section 30 of RA 7305 “Magna Carta for Public Health Workers”.

The City Council also appropriated an amount for the payment of the three-month salary differential of the said city government employees.

The ordinances were sponsored by the Committees on Health, Nutrition, and Health Insurance, on Finance, Budget and Appropriation, and on Laws and Rules chaired by Councilors Maria Lourdes S. Gaane, Yan Lam Lim and Edgar S. Cabanlas, respectively.
