Oro dads earmark funds to pay unpaid salaries, other benefits to employees

Several employees of City Hall can now be paid of their unpaid salaries and wages and other benefits.

This, after the 20th City Council, during its regular session on Monday, presided over by City Vice Mayor Bebot Rodriguez, enacted separate ordinances appropriating funds for the benefits of employees assigned at the City College of Cagayan de Oro as well as at the City Economic Enterprises and Business Development Administration (CEEBDA) due to step increment.

The ordinances were reviewed and endorsed by the Committees on Finance, Budget and Appropriations and Laws and Rules respectively chaired by Councilors Yan Lam Lim and Edgar S. Cabanlas.
