Oro dads back SK Carmen supplemental budget

In its 106th regular session presided over by Vice Mayor Bebot Rodriguez, the 20th City Council unanimously approved Resolution No. 077, Series of 2024 which covers the ₱150,000.00 Supplemental Budget No. 1 Barangay Carmen’s Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) for the calendar year 2024.

The budget is earmarked for maintenance and other operating expenditures, particularly to fund socio-cultural activities organized by the SK from November 17 to December 31, 2024. These initiatives are expected to foster youth engagement and community development in Barangay Carmen.

The SK resolution also involves the reversion of unused appropriations for capital outlay from the same fiscal year, as detailed in SK Resolution No. 078-2024.

The legislation received favorable recommendations from the Committee on Sports and Youth Development, chaired by Councilor Kenneth John D. Sacala, and the Committee on Laws and Rules, chaired by Councilor Edgar S. Cabanlas.
