Oro dads approve SK Brgy. 13 budget

IN a recent session presided over by Presiding Officer Pro Tempore Councilor Romeo Calizo, the 20th City Council enacted a resolution returning the 2024 annual budget to the Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) of Barangay 13.

The budget, which is sourced from the barangay’s 10% development fund in accordance with RA 10742, also known as the SK Reform Act, totals ₱1,443,721.00. Of this amount, SK Barangay 13 has allocated ₱840,000.00 for various youth development and empowerment programs.These programs will encompass initiatives focusing on health, environmental sustainability, governance, education, active citizenship, social inclusion and equity, economic empowerment, and security and peace-building.

The legislation was reviewed and endorsed by the Committees of Sports and Youth Development, chaired by Councilor Kenneth John D. Sacala, and on Laws and Rules, chaired by Councilor Edgar S. Cabanlas.
