Oro dads approve annual budgets of 2 barangays

THROUGH two separate resolutions, the 20th City Council on its regular session Monday, returned to two barangays their respective Barangay Ordinances covering their Annual Budgets for CY 2023 with the information that the same are operative in their entirety.

Out from its estimated income of P3,321,004, Barangay 7 has allocated P419,100 representing its 20% Development Fund for declogging of drainage, installation of street lighting facilities and rehabilitation of barangay facilities (multi-purpose hall).

Meanwhile, Barangay 11 has allocated P351,233 (20% Development Fund) for rehabilitation of its drainage system and declogging of canals.

The rest of the appropriations of the two barangays were intended to pay for personal services, non-office expenditures, SK Fund, Calamity Fund and Maintenance and Other Operating Expenses (MOOE).

The legislations were both reviewed and endorsed by the committees on barangays and on laws and rules respectively chaired by Councilors Yan Lam S. Lim and Ian Mark Q. Nacaya.
