Oro dads adopt CSC’s qualification standards for appointment of city’s permanent positions
During the regular session presided over by Presiding Officer Pro Tempore Councilor Romeo V. Calizo, the 20th City Council, headed by City Vice Mayor Bebot Rodriguez, enacted an ordinance prescribing and/or adopting the qualification standards for appointment to specific positions.
This is under the Civil Service Commission (CSC) Memorandum Circular No. 6 Series of 2023, which amends Section 34 of the 2017 Omnibus Rules on Appointments and Other Human Resource Actions (ORAOHRA).
These positions include Assistant Department Head II (Assistant City Planning and Development Coordinator) Item No. 2, (SG 24), Office of the City Planning and Development Office, and Assistant Department Head II (Assistant City Health Officer) Item Nos. 2 and 3 (SG 24), Office of the City Health Office.
The legislation was reviewed and endorsed by the Committees on Finance, Budget and Appropriation and on Laws and Rules chaired by Councilors Yan Lam Lim and Edgar S. Cabanlas, respectively.
